How much do Christmas light installations cost?
Home owners most often pay about $500 to $900 upon purchasing holiday lighting for their first Christmas (amount of cost will differ based on the materials selected and installation costs). Due to the labor and materials used, the price tag is usually around $300 to $600 for the following Christmases. Adding small trees can increase the expense per session by approximately $150 to $300. Remember, lights are a commodity, meaning if we put twice as many lights on your house, business, or tree, the cost would double. If you want to keep the price down, we recommend not doing all sides of your home. If you want to include trees, smaller trees are always more affordable.

Sadly, we are not charging the same price we were years ago. Our prices increase over time as the costs of materials, insurance, and labor increase. We try to keep our prices constant for a minimum of three years. We increased prices in 2008, 2013, 2018, and 2021. This change has been primarily due to the fluctuation in oil and food prices over the 23 months prior.
Do you have a project minimum size requirement?
Our experienced technicians complete all requests for light removal by has driven us to increase the labor minimum at $250.
What can I expect to pay for roofline Christmas lights?
The average 2500 square foot original property board features two lights and will cost around $350 to install and take away the lights that are positioned on the peak of the home's roofline. Even so, the quantity and measurements of roofline lights can fluctuate, irrespective of the square footage of the house.

Are permanent or temporary lights a better deal?
Permanent lighting doesn’t last forever. Most permanently installed LEDs will need significant repairs or replacement within five to seven years. Other companies may try to fool you into believing “permanent” lights last ten years or more. However, LED lights start to fail at about four years. So, if 200 lights are installed in your home, the seven to ten-year return on investment average per light would be $3,500 to $10,000.
