A free holiday lighting storage option is available after the season. No need to dig through your attic for your lights next year- we will store them for you and give you a receipt listing all items stored.
The Christmas light installation specialists, which was established in 1989 by Vance Brand, developed his business by watching after his father, who founded a company called Brand Electric, and running a window cleaning business. In comparison to his fellow competitors, all his efforts have been conducted to UL safety standards, and we continue to use safe equipment that has been Ladder-rated and tested.
The first year typically cost clients who install holiday decor from $500 to $900 for the cost of buying and installing materials. You are looking at labor costs, and the average cost is $300 to $600. A small tree can cost another $150 to $300, and its implementation is typically around $80 to $185.
Remember, lights are a commodity, meaning if we put twice as many lights on your house, business, or tree, the cost would double. If you want to keep the price down, we recommend not doing all sides of your home. If you want to include trees, smaller trees are always more affordable.
Unfortunately, we’re not charging the same price we did 33 years ago. Our pricing increases over time as the cost of materials, insurance, and labor increases. We try to keep our pricing stable for at least three years. We adjusted pricing in 2008, 2013, 2018, and 2021. This last increase has a lot to do with the labor market and gas prices over the past 24 months.
Yes. Our labor minimum is $250. To assure that we can give you good service, including the removal of lights in January, we have to have a minimum labor amount.
The average 2500 square foot original property board features two lights and will cost around $350 to install and take away the lights that are positioned on the peak of the home's roofline. Even so, the quantity and measurements of roofline lights can fluctuate, irrespective of the square footage of the house.
A 2500-square-foot rambler will have a very different roofline than a two-story with dormers. Price will depend on the linear footage of your roofline and the height and pitch of your roof.
If lights are a commodity and putting double the amount of lights on a tree would cost twice as much, it would make sense that a 12 ft. tree would probably cost twice as much as a six ft. tree. Keeping this in mind, smaller (6 ft.) trees always look better and cost less. Smaller trees will run about $85 to $135 in labor (each depending on how heavy they are covered.).
Using a tree with a higher cost is fairly expensive, since most branches are an integral part of your home's structure. You should also take into account that a two-story house averages 28 feet in height, and if your tree is the height of your home, it s at least 28 ft. tall. A 28 ft. tree can range in price from $300 to $2,000, depending on the number of lights you want installed.
We commonly get asked, “Would you do my 50 ft. spruce in my front yard? I have a $250 budget.” Please remember to be reasonable in your request. To get great coverage on this type of tree, you should expect a minimum of $2,000 for the basic to $25,000 for extravagant coverage. A tree like this requires a $400 to $700 lift and is at least a day’s work, if not more.

Yes, our company installs the American-made Oelo LED product that comes in a huge variety of styles and lasts a long time. Perhaps best of all, we can establish replacements for each bulb, which is important since incandescent bulbs can now be repaired only with an exorbitant amount of money.
With Oelo you can have fourth of July lights, Easter lights, St. Patty Daylights, and even purple birthday lights. The color options are endless. www.oelo.com
Permanent lighting generally lasts five to seven years. Unlike LED lights, other companies may deliberately state that permanent lights can last up to ten years. However, four to seven years is the typical lifespan of LED lights. On average, if you will happen to install 200 lights in your house, then you're likely to see a few malfunctioning within a few years. On average, the expected average lifetime cost per permanent light is $3,500 to $10,000.
The average labor on a seasonal Christmas Light installation costs only $300, plus the initial LED material cost of $250. Multiply that seasonal labor cost by seven years (the life expectancy of permanent lights), and the total cost is around $2,300 with the LED product. Seasonally installed Christmas lights are thousands of dollars less than permanently installed lights.
We understand the allure of color options that permanent lights allow. If you are looking for permanent lighting installed on your house, please be aware that the cost would be greater than the standard seasonal LED light installation.
