Most customers spend about $500 to $900 on holiday lighting for their homes the first year (cost to purchase the material and the labor to install.) Following years are typically labor costs only, and one can expect to pay $300 to $600. Adding small trees can increase your price by $150 to $300 per tree, with the following years around $80 to $185.
Remember, light bulbs are a commodity and while putting them in many key areas will mean a higher price, the light output will be higher. If you want to lower the cost, we recommend limiting the number of lights in your home, office, or business. If you're including trees in the ground, always look for smaller trees as they are typically more affordable.
Unfortunately, we’re not charging the same price we did 33 years ago. Our pricing increases over time as the cost of materials, insurance, and labor increases. We try to keep our pricing stable for at least three years. We adjusted pricing in 2008, 2013, 2018, and 2021. This last increase has a lot to do with the labor market and gas prices over the past 24 months.
Yes. Our $250 minimum labor amount helps ensure that we can properly service your property. There'll come a time to remove your lights in the winter, and that's when we require a minimum labor amount.
The average 2500 square foot original property board features two lights and will cost around $350 to install and take away the lights that are positioned on the peak of the home's roofline. Even so, the quantity and measurements of roofline lights can fluctuate, irrespective of the square footage of the house.
The square footage of a rambler's roof differs from the square footage of a two-story house which has dormers. Price is predicated on the linear footage and pitch of your roof.
If putting double the number of lights on an invitation also holds greatly to how much it will cost, it follows that illumination expenses more than twice as a higher price in staff time would have suggested. Accordingly, an inexpensive shorter tree requires a comparatively less amount of manpower and cost. A little tree, generally under 8 feet long, will cost $85 to $135 in staff time.
Using a tree with a higher cost is fairly expensive, since most branches are an integral part of your home's structure. You should also take into account that a two-story house averages 28 feet in height, and if your tree is the height of your home, it s at least 28 ft. tall. A 28 ft. tree can range in price from $300 to $2,000, depending on the number of lights you want installed.
Some people frequently ask, Will you do my 50 ft. spruce in my front yard? I have a $250 budget. Please be reasonable when you make your request. To get extensive coverage of such sort of tree, you ideally need to receive no less than $2,000 for the basic $25,000 for elaborate coverage. This sort of tree requires a $400 to $700 lift and more, as extensive as a day's labor or more.
If you wish, we'll install your lighting early so that you can save on your project, and we'll offer you a discount. Discounts are as follows.
15% off all labor for jobs preschedule by September 1st.
10% off labor for all jobs installed by November 7th.
Yes, we do install an American-made LED product called Oelo. Not only is it one of the longest-lasting LED products on the market, but we can replace each LED independently. This means we can repair our permanent product, adding years to its operating life span and reducing overall cost.
With Oelo you can have fourth of July lights, Easter lights, St. Patty Daylights, and even purple birthday lights. The color options are endless. www.oelo.com
Permanent lighting doesn't last forever. Most permanent LEDs require significant repairs or replacement within five to seven years. Other companies may tell you that permanent lighting lasts ten years or more, but LED lights are actually programmed to need replacement about four years after they are installed. On average, if you will happen to install 200 lights in your house, then you're likely to see a few malfunctioning within a few years. On average, the expected average lifetime cost per permanent light is $3,500 to $10,000.
The cost of installing seasonal Christmas lights, including labor and LED material, is $300 per year. Multiply that long-term expense by seven years (the life expectancy of permanent lights), and then 7 total years (the life expectancy of LED lighting) multiplied by $250 will give you the total cost of the light and material at $2,300.
Mainstream LED lighting choices have draw for color options, as they do for seasonality. If you want to get permanent lighting put in on your home, know that the expense of the particular job would be considerably more costly than a standard seasonal LED lights installation.
I've used Christmas Light Professionals for years now, to put up my lights. They do a great job. This year Keeka and Micah made sure my lights were just right. Thank you!
