Through the end of the year, you are able to obtain an overflow light storage space to keep your lights on the upcoming year. You do not need to dig through your stuff during the year anymore, because we will store. We give you a list with a description of all stored things.
The Christmas Light Professionals was established in 1989 by Vance Brand, who, after working for his father at Brand Electric and running a window cleaning company, came upon a bright idea! Because of his background, all our work is performed to UL standards, and our ladders are safety-rated with automatic levelers and tie downs.
Most customers spend about $500 to $900 on holiday lighting for their homes the first year (cost to purchase the material and the labor to install.) Following years are typically labor costs only, and one can expect to pay $300 to $600. Adding small trees can increase your price by $150 to $300 per tree, with the following years around $80 to $185.
Remember, lights are a commodity, meaning if we put twice as many lights on your house, business, or tree, the cost would double. If you want to keep the price down, we recommend not doing all sides of your home. If you want to include trees, smaller trees are always more affordable.
Unfortunately, our pricing is higher today than it was in 1996. Since the cost of quality, insurance, and labor goes up, we consume more resources to try to keep our pricing stable. There will not be a big change in pricing until at least 2021. Prices went up in 2008, 2013, 2018, and 2021 due to escalating costs on raw materials, insurance, and labor costs.
Our minimum coverage is $250. To guarantee that we can meet customers' standards well, especially for lights to be swapped out in January, we require a minimum labor fee.
The average 2500 square foot newer home runs about $350 for labor to install and remove lights installed on the front roofline of the house. However, the number of lights a roofline may require can vary, regardless of the square footage of a home. The reason for this is that not all rooflines are the same.
A 2500-square foot rambler will have a very different roofline than a two-story with dormers. Price is based on the linear footage of your roofline and the height and pitch of your roof.
12 ft. or even 6ft. trees may require more light to cost twice as much, so it costs twice as much to purchase or rent an 8 ft. tree as a 6ft. tree. In terms of looking into the value of smaller (6 ft.) trees, they run approximately $85 to $135 in labor.
Larger trees generally cost more, depending on the number of branches involved. In addition, know that a two-story home averages 28 feet in height, and if your tree is the height of your home, it s at least 28 ft. tall. A 28 ft. tree can cost anywhere from $300 to $2,000, depending on the number of lights you want installed.
We commonly get asked, “Would you do my 50 ft. spruce in my front yard? I have a $250 budget.” Please remember to be reasonable in your request. To get great coverage on this type of tree, you should expect a minimum of $2,000 for the basic to $25,000 for extravagant coverage. A tree like this requires a $400 to $700 lift and is at least a day’s work, if not more.
If you wish, we'll install your lighting early so that you can save on your project, and we'll offer you a discount. Discounts are as follows.

Yes, we do install an American-made LED product called Oelo. Not only is it one of the longest-lasting LED products on the market, but we can replace each LED independently. This means we can repair our permanent product, adding years to its operating life span and reducing overall cost.
With Oelo you can have fourth of July lights, Easter lights, St. Patty Daylights, and even purple birthday lights. The color options are endless. www.oelo.com
Permanent lighting doesn't last forever. Most permanent LEDs require significant repairs or replacement within five to seven years. Other companies may tell you that permanent lighting lasts ten years or more, but LED lights are actually programmed to need replacement about four years after they are installed. That means if 200 lights are installed on your house, you could expect to have a few not working by year six or seven. The average permanent install costs around $3,500 to $10,000.
The average labor on a seasonal Christmas Light installation costs $300, together with the initial LED material cost of $250. Multiply that cost by seven years (the lifespan of permanent lights), and the total yearly labor cost of permanent Christmas lights is $2,300. Seasonally installed Christmas lights are a few thousand lower than permanent versions.
We understand how alluring lighting color schemes are for permanent lights. If you intend to buy permanent lighting for your house, make sure to keep in mind that the setup would cost more due to the enhanced special features.
